It is introduced that AI tools can show value in identifying sports talents - through corresponding technologies, new sports talents can be 'discovered' anywhere in the world just by using mobile phone software. Currently, the International Olympic Committee and Intel are jointly developing relevant customized technologies, aiming to help national and regional Olympic committees innovate the way of sports talent identification and investment cultivation, and the relevant technology has completed the corresponding test in Senegal.

In 2026, Senegal will welcome the first Olympic event in Africa - the Dakar Youth Olympic Games. The International Olympic Committee, Intel, and the Senegal Olympic Committee have cooperated and stationed a professional sports science team in the local area for a project pilot. It is reported that among the more than 1000 young people participating in this project, 48 outstanding young people will be selected through relevant tests and included in the competition events hosted by the Senegal Olympic Committee, and they are expected to become Olympic athletes in the future.
