TapTechNews August 20th news, AVerMedia today announced the launch of the X'TRAGOGC515 portable direct recording and live streaming expansion magic box. This device integrates the functions of a capture box, a docking station and even a stand, and can meet a rich variety of needs with a single hardware.
The AVerMedia X'TRAGOGC515 is compatible with all kinds of handheld and mobile devices that support the USB Type-C DP Alt mode, and can be connected to handheld consoles, smartphones, tablets and laptops.
The X'TRAGOGC515 measures 141×99.4×37.7 (mm) in length, width and height, weighs 176 grams, and the central groove can accommodate devices up to 21.5mm thick. It is equipped with a dedicated USB Type-C 65W PD interface for power supply and a 3.5mm three-pole headphone jack.
As a capture box, the GC515 is equipped with a single microSD card slot and a single HDMI2.0 interface, supporting 2160p30, 1440p60, 1080p120 recording and 2160p60 (only supporting 1080p60 recording at the same time), and 1080p120 loop out.
And as a docking station, the AVerMedia GC515 is equipped with 2 USB3.2 Gen1 (5Gbps) Type-A downstream interfaces for connecting peripheral devices and 1 USB Type-C interface for connecting to external PCs, laptops, etc.
