Anker Announces Recall Plan for Defective Power Bank Models

TapTechNews September 18th news, Anker Anker said yesterday Beijing time that there are very few defective products in the Anker A1642/A1647/A1652 model power bank / mobile power supply that will be shipped from December 2023 to April 2024, so it launched a recall plan for the above potentially affected products globally.

According to the announcements on the Chinese and English official websites of Anker, the lithium-ion battery used in these defective products has a manufacturing defect, which may overheat, and then lead to the melting of plastic parts and smoking. In extreme cases, there is a risk of causing a fire accident.
