Samsung Galaxy Watch7's Faster Charging Speed

TapTechNews on May 20th, technology media SamMobile unearthed FCC certification documents, showing that the charging speed of the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 smartwatch is 50% faster than that of the Galaxy Watch6.

TapTechNews reported on May 18th that a total of 5 models have passed the FCC certification, among which SM-L300 and SM-L310 may be the Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Watch7, and SM-L305 and SM-L315 may be the cellular network version of the Galaxy Watch7.

The media deeply unearthed the FCC certification documents and found that the Galaxy Watch7 smartwatch supports 15W (5V, 3A) charging, while the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic support a maximum of 10W charging, meaning that the charging speed will be 50% faster than the existing models.

This means that in theory, the charging time of the Galaxy Watch7 should be 50% less than that of the Galaxy Watch6, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%. Therefore, in theory, the Galaxy Watch7 only needs 45 minutes to charge from empty to full.
