Destiny 2 The Shape of the End Released with New Chapters and Updates
TapTechNews reported on June 11 that the final chapter of the 'Light and Dark Chapter' story, 'Destiny 2: The Shape of the End', officially went live on June 5, and its online peak on Steam almost broke the historical peak of players since the release of 'The Autumn of Light'.
Today, Bungie released a new trailer introducing more information about 'Year 10' of 'Destiny' and introducing the first chapter, 'Echoes', which will be launched on June 12. This is the first of the three independent chapters to be released in the 'The Shape of the End' year, and Guardians will embark on a new adventure after fighting against the Witness.
TapTechNews noticed that at the end of the video, Bungie also announced the 'Year 11' project 'Codename: Frontier', but the official has not revealed more content yet, only stating that it will be launched in 2025. Stay tuned.
According to the official introduction, during the 'Year' of 'Destiny 2: The Shape of the End', three chapters will be released to tell the follow-up of the legend of light and darkness.
After 'Echoes' is 'Spite', the story will center around the Fallen and have a dark and horror-themed style. After 'Spite' is 'Heresy', mainly telling the story of the Hive gods. Players will return to the fan-favorite location, the Dreadnaught in 'Destiny'.
The brave Guardians took the lead, defeated the Witness, and stopped the Shape of the End. After the intense battle, the mysterious object 'Echoes' with tremendous power was scattered throughout the galaxy. 'Echoes' will lead players on a journey to explore the meaning of these objects and lead them to the evolving Nessus. Guardians will mobilize with the Intelligence Fail-safe, Saint-14, and Osiris to counter the growing Vex army and a mysterious new enemy.
Each chapter will release three chapters, with each chapter lasting about six weeks. Chapter 2 of 'Echoes' will be launched on July 17, and Chapter 3 will be launched on August 28. Each chapter will include new activities and tasks, such as the brand-new three-person executable breakthrough activity launched in Chapter 1 of 'Echoes'. 'Echoes' will also introduce new weapons and armor, seasonal artifacts, and additional unlocks for the season pass.
Guardians from all over the world rushed and led the allies of the Traveler to fight the ultimate battle against the Witness. All six members will receive a World First title belt and will go down in history as the champion of the 'Edge of Redemption' world first raid competition. Players who complete the raid by 12:59 am Beijing time on June 26 will be able to purchase the 'Edge of Redemption' raid jacket and ChromeIndustries messenger bag through Bungie Rewards. Players who complete it by 12:59 am Beijing time on October 9 will be able to purchase the corresponding raid seal. Players who complete all related challenges will get the title of Iconbreaker, and those who obtain this title can also buy the Iconbreaker title seal before 1:59 am on January 1 next year. Once obtained, all these products can be purchased from the Bungie store.
