Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5090/5080 Future High-Spec Gaming Graphics Cards Specifications Revealed

TapTechNews September 27th news, Kopite7kimi, an X-platform source, exposed the detailed specifications of Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5090/5080, two future high-spec gaming graphics cards of the Blackwell generation, Beijing time today.

The GeForce RTX 5090 will use PG144/145-SKU30 PCB, be equipped with GB202-300-A1 core, and have 21760 FP32 units (corresponding to 21760 CUDA cores or 170 SMs according to the current architecture), reducing by about 11.46% compared to the complete 24576 FP32 units of GB202.

The graphics card will be equipped with 32GB GDDR7 memory with a 512-bit width and the power consumption (TapTechNews note: TGP or TBP has not been confirmed yet) reaches 600W, and will adopt a dual-slot cooling.

RTX 5080

The GeForce RTX 5080 uses PG144/147-SKU45 PCB, is equipped with GB203-400-A1 core, and has 10752 FP32 units (corresponding to 10752 CUDA cores or 84 SMs according to the current architecture), less than half of RTX 5090.

The RTX 5080 will be equipped with 16GB GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit width and the power consumption reaches 400W.
