Apple Releases iTunes 12.13.3 Update for Windows 10 and Windows 11

TapTechNews September 27th, the tech media 9to5Mac released a blog post yesterday (September 26th), reporting that Apple released an update log this Thursday, introducing the iTunes 12.13.3 update content for the Windows 10 and Windows 11 platforms.

TapTechNews quoted Apple's official update log. This update mainly patched a local privilege escalation vulnerability, which Apple has repaired by imposing additional restrictions.

The vulnerability tracking number is CVE-2024-44193, discovered and reported by MadsBall and BochengXiang from Fudan University.
