Geely Holding Group's June and First Half of 2024 Sales Results

TapTechNews July 8th news, Geely Holding Group released its total report card for June this evening: the total monthly sales were 266,164 units, with a year-on-year increase of 14.3%, among which the sales of new energy vehicles were 120,879 units, with a year-on-year increase of 53.1%, 45.4% new energy penetration rate.

The total sales in the first half of this year were 1,493,715 units, with a year-on-year increase of 25%; the new energy sales were 586,480 units, with a year-on-year increase of 49%; the international sales were 587,271 units, with a year-on-year increase of 22%.

Geely Automobile Group

Total sales in June were 166,085 units, with a year-on-year increase of 24.2%

The sales of new energy vehicles were 65,959 units, with a year-on-year increase of 88.3%.

Overseas export sales were 35,347 units, with a year-on-year increase of 61%.

Accumulative sales from January to June were 955,730 units, with a year-on-year increase of 41%.

Volvo Cars

Global sales were 71,514 units, with a year-on-year increase of 8%.

The sales of new energy vehicles were 34,382 units, with a year-on-year increase of 41%.

The sales in the Chinese market were 14,049 units.

Accumulative global sales from January to June were 388,073 units, with a year-on-year increase of 14%.

Proton Automobile (a Malaysian independent automobile brand acquired by Geely)

Monthly sales in June were 10,999 units, and the local market share was 19.1%.

Accumulative sales from January to June were 73,696 units.
