TapTechNews July 8th news, according to the YouTube channel GamersNexus video, ZOTAC server had a serious configuration error previously, resulting in leaked information in after-sales and other systems, involving ordinary consumers and enterprise customers.
GamersNexus said that一度 it could directly search on Google to find the information submitted when users applied for RMA after-sales, and clicking on it could directly see the unencrypted content by ZOTAC, including sensitive information such as the name and address of the applicant user:
GamersNexus demonstrated some leaked corporate orders in the video. As shown in the following figure, a customer purchased multiple ZOTAC RTX4070TWIN graphics cards on January 10 this year:
The leaked information even includes the circuit schematic diagram belonging to ZOTAC's parent company PCPartner (TapTechNews note:栢能):
ZOTAC immediately dealt with this serious data leak incident after receiving the reminder from GamersNexus. Currently the relevant leaked pages have been encrypted, and after-sales temporarily use email communication instead.
However, foreign media Tom'sHardware noticed that there are still a certain number of leaked page caches that can currently be found on Google, and these cache pages still contain some valuable information that requires manual handling.
