Leica Releases D-Lux8 Portable Digital Camera

TapTechNews May 23rd news, Leica Camera AG today released the D-Lux8 portable digital camera, which will be available for sale at all Leica stores and authorized retailers starting July 2nd. The overseas price is $1595 (TapTechNews note: currently about 11564 RMB), and the domestic price has not been announced for the time being.

The D-Lux8 portable digital camera released this time, it has been 21 years since Leica released the first D-Lux camera, and the previous-generation D-Lux7 (priced at $1195) has been discontinued since 2018.

The design of the D-Lux8 is basically the same as that of the previous generation, both equipped with a non-separable Leica 24-75mm zoom lens, including a 4/3-inch 21-million-pixel CMOS sensor (17 million effective pixels), and has a similar design, while the main change is the adoption of a new system and the adjustment of the control method.
