New Jailbreak Method for PlayStation 4 Using LG Smart TV

TapTechNews May 17th news, the anchor MichaelCrump recently released a video, demonstrating a new rooting method for jailbreaking PlayStation 4 game consoles, only requiring an LG smart TV running webOS.

The entire jailbreaking process requires an already Rooted LG smart TV. Users install the WebOS Homebrew channel on the TV, then enable the SSH server and block system updates. Like the PPPwm method, this jailbreak program will not be permanently installed on the PlayStation 4, so users need to re-run the program when turning on or restarting the system.

TapTechNews learned from the report that this jailbreaking method also has requirements for LG smart TVs, needing LG TVs before 2022 and disabling the developer mode, etc.
