Huawei's Intelligent Driving Update Map-Free Initiative and Future Plans

TapTechNews July 12th news, according to the report of Insight · Economy, during the 2024 China Auto Forum held today, Jin Yuzhi, CEO of Huawei Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, gave a speech.

Jin Yuzhi talked about the related topic of map-free intelligent driving this time. He said that currently, map-based intelligent driving has limitations. In China, only a small number of leading cities have high-precision maps, so Huawei took the lead in launching a map-free intelligent driving that does not rely on high-definition maps. Huawei was the first to launch a map-free solution. Now other peers claim that they will also launch it this year, and we also hope they can do it well.

Jin Yuzhi also talked about the recent product planning. Dongfeng VOYAH and Dongfeng MANS will adopt Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving Solution. Everyone thinks that Huawei's intelligent driving is'so good', but it can only be used in 'luxury cars' above 250,000 or 300,000. Can it be used by more consumers? So Huawei, for the popularity of intelligent driving, launched Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADSSE.

Jin Yuzhi said that the new car Deep Blue S07 to be released this month will be the first time that Huawei provides Qiankun Intelligent Driving on cars below 200,000 yuan, and will provide basic and safe high-speed NCA and parking assistance. After that, Huawei will help auto companies apply intelligent driving to vehicles around 150,000 yuan.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Deep Blue S07 is positioned as a technological new mainstream midsize SUV and will be equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADSSE, supporting intelligent driving pilot assistance and intelligent parking assistance functions.
