Unisoc and ZTE Announce Comprehensive 5G Strategic Cooperation

TapTechNews July 12th news, Unisoc and ZTE Corporation announced that they officially signed a comprehensive 5G strategic cooperation framework agreement at the 2024 Semiconductor Market Annual Conference, and will start comprehensive strategic cooperation in business fields such as mobile Internet, home terminals, automotive electronics, and industrial digitization.

It is reported that the two sides have completed many joint tests and verifications such as the world's first real-time voice laboratory verification of the mobile phone's direct connection to high-orbit satellite IoT-NTN IMS and the world's first S-band satellite verification; completed the industry's first 5G N102 core network integrated solution joint commissioning, and the end-to-end capability test of RedCap technology, etc.
