IM Motors' IMAD City NOA Public Beta to Expand to 7 Cities in June

TapTechNews June 8th news, according to TapTechNews netizens' feedback, after Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Suzhou initiated the NOA public beta, IMAD urban NOA public beta (without high-precision map) of IM Motors will land in 7 cities: Beijing, Nanjing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, and Wuxi in June.

The models eligible for this public beta include LS6 and LS7 equipped with lidar. The pre-registration time for the event is from 12:00 on June 7th to 24:00 on June 9th, and eligible users can register in the IM Motors App.

IM Motors stated that the IM Motors owners currently participating in the urban NOA public beta activities in four cities of Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Suzhou, as well as those participating in the national high-speed and viaduct NOA public beta without high-precision map, will also receive the software update package simultaneously when the third round of urban NOA public beta activities officially kicks off, so as to deeply experience the urban NOA without high-precision map and high-speed and viaduct NOA, and lay a solid foundation for subsequent full-volume push.

According to the official introduction, the IMAD city NOA without map advanced scheme has the characteristics of wide application range and strong ability to handle complex scenarios. Without relying on high-precision maps, as long as it is the area covered by the navigation, including urban main roads, secondary roads and branch roads, high-speed and viaduct expressways, and even rural roads, mountain roads, and scenic roads, the IMAD city NOA without map can provide users with a more human-like intelligent driving experience.

First quarter: urban NOA, first push in Shanghai area

Second quarter: no-map urban NOA, public beta starts

Third quarter: no-map urban NOA, mass production starts

Fourth quarter: no-map urban NOA, starts national rollout within the year
