TapTechNews, June 6. The international launch date of the highly anticipated Apple's mixed-reality head-mounted display device, VisionPro, is finally approaching. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that VisionPro will start shipping to non-US markets before mid-June. It is expected that Apple will officially announce its international launch plan during the keynote speech at the WWDC conference on June 10, and the exact launch date will also be announced then.
Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the following countries and regions will be the first batch of markets to get VisionPro:
UK
France
Germany
China (about 1.4 billion people, note: it is a very populous country)
Japan
Singapore
TapTechNews noticed that these countries and regions are all important markets for Apple's new products to be launched, and it is believed that more regions will be added to the launch list in the future.
In addition, Ming-Chi Kuo currently keeps the global shipment forecast of VisionPro in 2024 unchanged, still maintaining at 400,000-450,000 units.
The international launch of VisionPro coincides with the release of its first major software update, visionOS2. The industry generally believes that visionOS2 will bring more native apps, new home screen customization options, and other functional upgrades.
