Apple Obtains New Patent to Extend VisionPro's Interactive Gestures to Other Devices

TapTechNews August 2nd news, the tech media AppleInsider reported yesterday (August 1st) that Apple has obtained a new patent, meaning that the interactive gestures on the VisionPro headset can be extended to devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

In the patent disclosed by the US Trademark and Patent Office yesterday, Apple explores the use of the front cameras on devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac to realize the interactive gestures on the VisionPro headset.

Apple stated in the patent abstract: 'This patent mainly provides computer-generated experiences, including but not limited to electronic devices that provide virtual reality and mixed reality experiences through the display.'

TapTechNews attaches some of the patent sketches below, of which 36 are related to AppleVisionPro, and the component exploded view of the headset indicates that Apple is considering extending the gestures on the VisionPro headset to devices such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

In one of the sketches, the user can move the cursor position of the Mac device through gestures; in another sketch, the user can control the iPhone to turn off the lights, etc. through gestures.
