TapTechNews May 26th news, according to CCTV News, American Disney music master Richard M. Sherman passed away in the hospital in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles on May 25th US time, at the age of 95.

Richard Sherman and his late brother Robert Sherman created music for many musical films such as Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He and his brother won two Oscars in 1965 for the score of Mary Poppins.

Richard Sherman was born in New York City on June 12, 1928. He has won three Grammy Awards and has received 24 gold and platinum records. His contribution to the art world also won him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Sherman brothers created more than 150 songs at Disney, among which It's a Small World became the theme song of Disneyland. The Sherman brothers were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2005 and received the National Medal of Arts in 2008.
