BYD Song LDM-i Unveiled with Exterior Details and Tech Specs

TapTechNews July 12th news, Lu Tian, general manager of BYD Dynasty Network Sales Division, shared a long graphic poster of Song LDM-i today, showing the exterior details of the new car, claiming to "lead the new trend of mid-size SUVs".

The poster shows that the size of this new car is 4780x1898x1670 (about 188.19x74.72x65.75 inches) in length, width and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2782 millimeters (about 109.53 inches). The official claims that this new car adopts the "Dragon Roar Dawn Front" design, is equipped with "Dragon Soul Pleasing Headlights", "Dragon Color Flying Wing Waistline", "New Streaming Light Ray Tail Lights", and the tail adopts the "Dragon Driving Broad Shoulder Design". Briefly, the new car is equipped with a blackened air intake grille and a through-type taillight at the rear.

Referring to TapTechNews' previous report, this model adopts the same fifth-generation DM hybrid system as Qin LDM-i. The 1.5-liter engine has a maximum power of 74 kilowatts, and the driving motor has a maximum power of 160 kilowatts. It is equipped with 18.316/26.593 kilowatt-hour batteries, and the corresponding pure electric cruising range in the WLTC condition is 91 kilometers (about 56.54 miles) and 128 kilometers (about 80.19 miles) respectively, and the fuel consumption per 100 kilometers with power loss is 4.95 liters and 4.98 liters respectively.

At present, BYD has not officially announced the specific release time of this new car, and the "please look forward to" at the end of the poster indicates that the car will be launched in the near future.
