Microsoft's ValidationOS A Lightweight Verification OS for Hardware Defects

TapTechNews July 13th news, in addition to the common Windows versions that everyone sees, Microsoft also provides a series of deployment tools and verification tools specifically for developers, hardware/software vendors, such as DISM, WinPE, Factory OS, etc., and also includes a lightweight verification operating system based on Windows 11, namely ValidationOS (Verification OS).

In simple terms, ValidationOS is exclusively for vendors to diagnose, mitigate and repair hardware defects in the factory workshop. It was initially released in June 2022, and then had an update in July 2023, and now it has been updated again to the 24H2RTM version (Build 26100.1).

After customizing the ValidationOS image, you can use it to start the computer. You can create and use a bootable USB medium and run ValidationOS from RAM, or you can apply the image directly to the hard drive of the computer.
