Sharp Launches P-Series Projectors XP-P601Q and XP-P721Q

TapTechNews June 13 - Sharp today launched the P-series projectors XP-P601Q and XP-P721Q with DLP imaging technology and brightness of 6000/7200 ANSI lumens respectively. The prices are $5199 (TapTechNews note: about 37,737 RMB currently) and $6499 (about 47,173 RMB currently).

No Maintenance

Both of these projectors are commercial entry-level laser projectors that support 4K UHD images. The projectors have no bulbs and filters. Using DLP imaging technology, the official says it is a filter-free design and the projector requires no maintenance and can be used for at least 20,000 hours.

Installation

The new Sharp P-series projectors are equipped with a 1.6x electric zoom lens and support electric vertical and horizontal lens shift, providing more installation positions to choose from. When there are obstacles or the installation position is not completely aligned with the screen, the wide zoom lens with horizontal and vertical lens shift supports adjustment in the smallest digital unit.

Configuration

The Sharp P-series projectors support HDBaseT input and support a 21:9 aspect ratio. Compared to HDMI, it supports the transmission of video, audio and control over a single cable for long distances, simplifying the installation. At the same time, the no-tilt and no-roller functions support floor projection, ceiling projection and portrait projection.

The two projectors remain the same in technical functions, details as follows:

Two HDMI inputs (with HDCP), supporting simultaneous connection of high-definition sources such as Blu-ray players, cable TV boxes, satellite receivers, and computers.

Lens shift, supporting vertical and horizontal lens shift for flexible projector placement.

Power management, supporting the projector to automatically shut down when no input signal from any input is detected.

Wired network connection, integrated RJ45 connection, allowing for quick connection to the LAN (10/100 base-T function).
