Microsoft Announces DirectAccess Service to be Obsolete

DirectAccess does not require a traditional virtual private network connection and supports remote users to connect to organizational network resources.

When using a DirectAccess connection, the remote client computer is always connected to the organization - remote users do not have to start and stop the connection like a virtual private network connection.

In addition, IT administrators can manage DirectAccess client computers while they are running and connected to the Internet.

Microsoft said that AlwaysOnVPN has been launched in all Windows versions currently, and third parties can use the platform's functions through the supported method of UWPVPN plug-in.
