Ubisoft's Prince of Persia The Sands of Time Remake Update

TapTechNews June 11th, at the Ubisoft Forward 2024 event held early this morning, the teaser trailer for the remake version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was unveiled, announcing its release in 2026.

The remake version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time can be regarded as a 'chronic headache' project for Ubisoft, having postponed four times, and now the new release date has finally been determined.

Upon inquiry by TapTechNews, the remake version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was originally scheduled to be released on January 21, 2021, and it has postponed four times, in December 2020, February 2021, October 2021, and May 2022.

The original version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time was released in 2003, and its new gameplay and storyline redefined the action-adventure games at that time. Ubisoft previously announced the launch of the remake version, which has been in development at the Mumbai and Pune studios in India since 2020. With multiple postponements, it was transferred to the王牌 Montreal studio in 2022.

Two years have passed, and the remake version of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is still not fully developed. On the evening of June 3rd, Ubisoft Toronto studio released an announcement stating that it would join the game's development and production, working together with Ubisoft Montreal studio to'remake this beloved classic work'.
