Netflix to Create Minecraft Animated Series, WildBrain to Produce

The specific plot of this animation is not yet clear. Netflix only said that it will feature original stories and new characters to present Minecraft from a brand new perspective.

This animation will be produced by WildBrain, which has produced adapted works such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The online time is still to be determined. It is worth noting that this is not the only film and television work currently adapted based on Minecraft. Next year, there will also be a live-action movie released.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, in order to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the launch of Minecraft (from May 14, 2009 till now), the series of games has launched a preferential promotion activity on all platforms, with a maximum of 50% off, and a maximum of 30% off on the mobile platform. The games involved in the discount include the main body of Minecraft and two derivative games Minecraft: Legends and Minecraft: Dungeons.
