TapTechNews on May 13th, ASUS announced the official release of the Tessen Gaming Controller, which was first showcased earlier this year in the ROG Player's Country. The controller features a foldable design and weighs 136 grams.
ASUS claims that the Tessen is the only foldable mobile gaming controller in the market, with aluminum alloy programmable back keys, additional rubber support pads for phone cases (compatible with thickness range of 7-14.5mm), and a console-level joystick. It has already won the 2024 iF and Red Dot Design Awards.
The joystick of the Tessen Gaming Controller is 18mm high and provides a 22° range of motion, with mechanical micro-switches for the D-pad and ABXY buttons.
Furthermore, the controller features a USB Type-C interface, supports 18W fast charging, and comes with Aura RGB lighting effects.
ASUS has not yet announced the price and specific release date for the ROG Tessen Gaming Controller.
