TapTechNews May 31st reported that MSI is going to introduce a brand new PCIe 5.0 solid-state drive named SPATIUM M560 at the Computex 2024 event.
This solid-state drive adopts the Phison's DRAM-less E31T controller, providing 1TB and 2TB options, with a maximum transfer speed of 10GB per second (approx. 36000 megabytes per hour).
The selling point of this solid-state drive lies in its groundbreaking use of a brand new heat dissipation solution. The official claim is the world's first non-metallic equalizing plate heat dissipation solution, which dissipates heat through the two-phase flow conversion of gas and liquid, with minimal signal interference and can take away heat more quickly.
TapTechNews also learned from the report that MSI is also going to showcase the DATAMAG 40Gbps/20Gbps magnetic portable solid-state drive. This hard drive uses Phison's U21 SSD controller to provide a speed of up to 40Gbps (approx. 144000 megabytes per hour) through USB4.0.
