The announcement pointed out that it was decided to implement export control on specific molds and other equipment and software and technologies in the fields of some aerospace and shipbuilding, as well as items related to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers. The above policy will be officially implemented as of July 1.

Items that meet the following characteristics may not be exported without permission:

Equipment and software and technologies related to the manufacturing of aerospace structural components and engines

Equipment and software and technologies related to the manufacturing of gas turbine engines/gas turbines

Equipment and software and technologies related to the manufacturing of spacesuit faceplates

Items related to ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers

TapTechNews noted that when a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce responded to a reporter's question in response to the export control policy on certain items, it was stated that implementing export control on certain molds and special fiber materials and other related items is an international common practice. China draws on international practices and implements export control on certain items according to its own needs, aiming to better safeguard national security and fulfill international obligations such as non-proliferation. The relevant policies are not targeted at any specific country or region. If the export complies with the relevant regulations, permission will be granted.
