Apple Releases New Firmware Update for AirPods Pro 2

TapTechNews May 29th, Apple today released firmware update version 6F7 for its AirPods Pro 2 headphones with Lightning and USB-C ports, a firmware update higher than 6B34 released in November last year.

As always, Apple simply mentioned in the update log fixing bugs and other improvements, without mentioning the detailed log content, so it is not clear what new features are in the update at present.

Apple has already added a number of new AirPods Pro 2 features in iOS 17, such as adaptive audio, conversation awareness, and personalized volume.

TapTechNews Note: Apple has not clearly defined how AirPods Pro 2 upgrades the firmware, but it is usually installed wirelessly when connected to an iOS device.

Users can force an upgrade by putting the AirPods in the case, connecting the AirPods to a power source, and then pairing the AirPods with an iOS device or Mac.
