Combined with previous information, the new car will carry out detailed upgrades in terms of appearance and interior, and the power is expected to be upgraded to BYD's fifth-generation DM technology. It is said that the new car is expected to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year or later.

Referring to the Qin LDM-i model upgraded with DM5.0 technology, its pure electric range is 80km and 120km, equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine (the maximum power is 74 kilowatts, and the maximum torque of the engine is 126 N·m), with the highest engine thermal efficiency of 46.06% in the world, the lowest fuel consumption of 2.9L per 100 kilometers in the world, and the longest comprehensive range of 2100 kilometers.

Judging from the pictures, the overall outline of the new car is basically the same as that of the current model, but only adjustments are made to details such as the lamp group shape and the style of the middle net, while the air intake grille and the front headlights are not much different from the current model. From the side, except for a slight difference in the shape of the wheel hub, the rest of the designs are also basically similar to those of the current model. In addition, it is expected that the tail logo will also be replaced by the BUILDYOURDREAM logo from BYD.

For the interior part, the new Qin PLUS is not much different from the current model, and still equipped with a suspended central control screen and a liquid crystal instrument. However, the shape of the center console emphasizes the horizontal visual effect more. The air outlet of the air conditioning in the lower island part and the mobile phone storage compartment are also different from those of the current model. At the same time, the style of the crystal gear handle and the layout of the multifunctional buttons have also been slightly adjusted.
