A person close to JD executives disclosed that for this adjustment, JD will continue to increase the investment in hundreds of millions of subsidies, and the additional special subsidies will all be used to support the category of beauty products. All beauty products in the entire category, including those of self-operated and third-party merchants, can enjoy hundreds of millions of subsidies hereafter. According to another calculation, after the new round of subsidy investment, consumers buying beauty products through JD's hundreds of millions of subsidies are expected to enjoy at least a 10% additional discount.
Regarding this, JD has not responded for the time being.
It is learned that in April this year, JD's hundreds of millions of subsidies once increased the stakes for the beauty category and launched a beauty product bonus play. According to what JD disclosed at that time, a total value of 200 million yuan in gifts was prepared for the first phase of the activity, that is, when consumers shopped in the JD's hundreds of millions of subsidies beauty zone, as long as a single order met a certain amount, they could freely choose a gift from the gift pool.
