According to TapTechNews on June 13th, both of the two models of Avita currently on sale - the midsize pure electric SUV Avita 11 and the large and midsize pure electric sedan Avita 12 - have added extended-range versions in the application list announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology today.
TapTechNews summarizes the main information of the two vehicles:
Avita 11: The length, width and height are 4895 / 1970 / 1601mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2975mm; it is equipped with a 1.5L engine produced by Changan Automobile as the range extender, with a maximum power of 115kW; the peak power of the drive motor is 231kW.
Avita 12: The length, width and height are 5020 / 1999 / 1460 or 1450mm respectively, and the parameters of the range extender and the drive motor are the same as those of 11.
The appearance of the two vehicles is almost the same as that of their respective pure electric versions, but the lower grille part adopts a special diamond-shaped texture design for better heat dissipation.(The unit mm means millimeter in length measurement).
Before these two existing models, Avita had announced its third new car - Avita 07. The car is planned to debut in the second half of this year and is expected to be the debut model of Avita's extended-range power.
Chen Zhuo, the president of Avita Technology, once revealed that two new products will come out in 2024, and there will also be four extended-range power products added to the production line.
