The HR replied that social security can be paid by oneself as a flexible employee. This means that these employees have been tacitly laid off by the company, and most of them still have a contract term of more than one year. The opinion given by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau is that the company unjustly dismisses during the contract period, and they can apply for legal aid.
It is reported that Evergrande Automobile has stopped production and work at the end of last year, and most employees have been required to rest at home, with no salary but only social security paid, and the number of employees has also sharply reduced from more than 6,000 at the peak to less than 500.

There have been successively the United Arab Emirates'纽顿 (Newton), Russia's Atom and the Korean consortium considering acquiring the relevant assets of Evergrande Automobile. Eventually, the Korean consortium thought that the equity of Evergrande Automobile was too complicated, and there were too many real estate businesses involved. Even if only the automobile part was stripped, the entire formalities and process time would be too long.
And Russia's Atom chose to establish a research and development center in Shanghai after contacting with Evergrande Automobile and poached some of the personnel from the Evergrande Automobile Research Institute.
