Some iPhone users have reported in the past few days that the toggle button of 'Allow Apps to Request Tracking' in the Settings app is in a gray unusable state.

TapTechNews translation of Apple's explanation for disabling this option is as follows: 'This setting cannot be currently changed, maybe a configuration file has restricted it, or because your Apple ID is being managed, does not meet the minimum age requirement, or lacks age information'.

Many users reported that it occurred after upgrading to iOS 17.5, but some users also reported that older versions such as iOS 17.4.1, iOS 17.4, and iOS 16.6 were also affected.
