BYD Launches Fifth-Generation DM Technology and New Cars Qin L and Seal 06
TapTechNews May 28th news, BYD held the launch of the fifth-generation DM technology and the listing conference of Qin L DM-i and Seal 06 DM-i tonight. Two new cars of BYD Qin L and Seal 06 were officially launched and debuted with the fifth-generation DM technology.
Qin L has two CLTC pure electric ranges of 80 kilometers and 120 kilometers, and 5 models are available. The price range is $14,970 - $20,970. TapTechNews noticed that BYD Qin L adopts the latest family design. The front part is matched with a large-mouth air intake grille shape, and the interior also has a broken horizontal trim decoration, with a prominent visual effect. The front headlight group adopts the LED Dragon Crystal design similar to Song L. The side of the body continues the fastback shape of Qin PLUS, and the extended three-dimensional upper waistline, the upturned side skirt line and the new multi-spoke wheels make it more sporty. At the rear part, its taillight group adopts the through Chinese knot design, and there is also a black diffuser shape under the rear bumper. In terms of body size, the new car is 4830*1900*1495mm in length, width and height respectively, and the wheelbase is 2790mm. BYD Qin L provides four colors: tea crystal gray, water perlite green, kiln purple, and jade white.
For the interior part, Qin L adopts an integrated center console design, and its liquid crystal instrument, cloud window fan-shaped air outlet, etc. are integrated on a scroll long screen. In addition, the new car adopts the new-generation multi-function steering wheel of the Dynasty Network, and the core functions such as starting, gear shifting, and driving mode can be seen in the shifting area. The suspended central control screen provides two specifications of 12.8 inches and 15.6 inches according to the car model, and is equipped with the DiLink intelligent network connection system.
In terms of configuration, high-end models will provide configurations such as electric adjustment, seat ventilation and heating, and will be equipped with the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, supporting functions such as adaptive cruise, intelligent piloting, lane departure suppression, intelligent speed limit warning, and blind spot monitoring.

The maximum power of the engine is 74 kilowatts, and the maximum torque of the engine is 126 N·m. The new car is equipped with BYD's blade lithium iron phosphate battery, providing two options for consumers. The high-end version is equipped with a 15.874 kWh battery, the motor has a maximum power of 160 kilowatts / 260 N·m, and the CLTC pure electric range is 120 kilometers.
