Henan Province Launches China Post Aviation Hub Project with Huge Investment

TapTechNews August 26th news, according to 'Henan Daily', this morning, the governor of Henan Province, Wang Kai, and the chairman of China Post Group, Liu Aili, jointly launched the China Post Aviation Hub project in Zhengzhou Airport Economic Zone. This project is a strategic and pioneering infrastructure leading the development of modern logistics, covering an area of more than 1600 acres and with a total investment of over 10 billion yuan, and the planning layout includes an aviation transfer center, a comprehensive support base for postal aviation, and other facilities and airside supporting projects.

On the same day, the Henan Provincial Government signed a cooperation agreement with the China Post Group. The two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in the construction of the county-village delivery logistics system and postal financial services. They will also focus on building a high-quality postal express logistics system and implement a three-year action plan for the construction of the postal express logistics system, striving to achieve full coverage of county-village passenger-cargo-post comprehensive service stations and 24-hour delivery of postal express items to administrative villages by 2026.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, in July this year, eight departments including the State Post Bureau recently issued the 'Guiding Opinions on the Layout and Construction of National Postal Express Hubs', proposing to layout about 80 national postal express hubs across the country, including about 15 global international postal express hubs, about 20 regional international postal express hubs, and about 45 national postal express hubs. Each hub can be flexibly laid out and constructed with 1 to 3 national postal express hub functional areas (collectively referred to as 'national postal express hub') according to local conditions, and the hub functional areas are carried by the corresponding cities.
