Samsung Developing Galaxy ZFold6 Slim Phone Confirmed as W25

TapTechNews Jun. 15th, according to the blogger @ibingcosmos, Samsung is developing a Galaxy ZFold6 Slim phone and said it's not called Ultra because it's not Ultra, it's just thin.

Today, the blogger claims that this Galaxy ZFold6 Slim phone is confirmed to be the Samsung W25 and reveals that the phone adopts a titanium metal frame, thinner and lighter body, and a larger screen.

Based on TapTechNews' previous reports, this Samsung W25 phone is planned to be released in the fourth quarter of 2024, and the phone because it is thin and light, does not support the SPen stylus, and as a W series model, the price of this phone will also be higher than that of the standard ZFold6.

For comparison, Samsung released the W24 series of phones on September 15th, 2023, including the W24 and W24 Flip models, with prices of $2450 (16GB RAM + 1TB storage) and $1550 (12GB RAM + 512GB storage), respectively.

The Samsung W24 is equipped with a 6.2-inch outer screen and a 7.6-inch inner screen (supports the SPen stylus), and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 for Galaxy processor. It is equipped with a 10 million-pixel front camera, a 1200-million-pixel wide-angle lens and ultra-wide-angle lens in the rear, and supports 10x digital zoom. It has a 3700 mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging.
