Gigabyte Launches New QD-OLED Monitor AORUS FO32U with Some Downgrades

TapTechNews July 20th news, Gigabyte launched five monitors with Samsung QD-OLED panels at CES 2024, including AORUS FO32U2.

Now, Gigabyte has launched a streamlined version of AORUS FO32U, which also uses a 31.5-inch Samsung QD-OLED panel. Compared to FO32U2, the refresh rate drops from 240 Hz to 165 Hz; it only has ClearMR9000 certification instead of ClearMR13000 certification; and it also lacks the RGBFusion2.0 function. The pricing and launch date have not been announced yet.

In addition to these three points, AORUS FO32U is the same as AORUS FO32U2 in other aspects. The resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels, the gray-scale response time is 0.03 ms (GTG), the typical brightness is 250 candelas per square meter, the peak brightness is 1000 nits, and it covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with a color accuracy ΔE < 2.

For interfaces, it has 2 HDMI 2.1 interfaces, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 interface, 1 USB-C interface with DP mode and 18W power supply, 3 USB 3.2-A interfaces, 1 3.5mm headphone jack, and 1 3.5mm microphone interface. TapTechNews noticed that this monitor also has two 5W speakers built-in and integrates KVM at the same time.
