Larian Studios announces Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 physical deluxe version production issues

TapTechNews May 25th news, Larian Studios released a statement in the early morning saying that the North American PS5 physical deluxe version of Baldur's Gate 3 has encountered production problems, and players need to wait until July to get the game.

Due to production changes beyond our control, when producing PS5 discs, we have to follow certain processes specifically formulated by the production company. Unfortunately, the approval time in specific regions is much longer than expected.

We expect that all PS5 copies in the North American region will be ready in about 14 days, and then it will take another 10 days to start delivering these copies directly to the players. We are also in discussions with the manufacturer to see if it is possible to hire additional temporary staff to shorten the assembly time.

Larian Studios apologized to the players who pre-ordered the game and thanked the players for their support.
