TapTechNews noted that it has been about 3 years since the Huawei SoundX series products had a proper generation update. The previous-generation SoundX speaker was released in July 2021, which was the first Devialet co-designed three-way frequency intelligent speaker. The high, medium, and low-frequency units support independent sound production and is equipped with the HarmonyOS 2 system, priced at $330 (about 2199 yuan).

In addition, Huawei launched a new product with a 'Gilded Theater Version' appearance change in the SoundX series speakers at the Huawei New Product Autumn Conference in 2022, priced at $375 (about 2499 yuan).
