On the morning of May 27th, Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Site carried out liquid nitrogen filling commissioning. Liquid nitrogen flowed out from the tank truck and entered the filling system through pipelines. Due to the extremely low boiling point of liquid nitrogen (-321°Fahrenheit), the pipeline temperature dropped sharply, forming frost coverage. After nearly 8 hours of careful operation, inspection and verification, the commissioning team confirmed that the liquid nitrogen was successfully delivered to the first launch pad, and after testing, the system performed well.

It is reported that the success of this commissioning marks the completion of the commissioning of large-scale equipment and facilities at the first launch pad, laying the foundation for the Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Site to have launch capability by the end of June.

At present, the first launch pad of the Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Site has been completed and is undergoing pre-launch capacity evaluation. The launch pad of the second launch pad has also been installed, and the corresponding technical area three-level plant of the Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Site project is also being accelerated for construction.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, 'Hainan Business Aerospace' announced last July that the Long March 8B Modified carrier rocket is planned to make its first flight at the first launch pad of the Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Center in June 2024, which is also the first flight mission of the Hainan Commercial Aerospace Launch Site.
