China's Power Industry Update Installed Capacity and Utilization Data
TapTechNews May 24th news, the National Energy Administration has now released the latest national power industry statistical data for the period of January to April.
The data shows that by the end of April, the cumulative installed capacity of power generation nationwide is approximately 3.01 billion kilowatts, with a year-on-year growth of 14.1%, achieving another milestone leap in the scale of power installed capacity.
By the end of April, China's installed capacity of solar power generation is about 670 million kilowatts, with a year-on-year growth of 52.4%; the installed capacity of wind power is about 460 million kilowatts, with a year-on-year growth of 20.6%.
The data shows that from January to April this year, the national new installed capacity of power generation is 88.82 million kilowatts, 8.9 million kilowatts more than that of the same period last year. Among them, the new installed capacity of wind power is 16.84 million kilowatts, 2.64 million kilowatts more than that of the same period last year; the new installed capacity of solar power is 60.11 million kilowatts, 11.79 million kilowatts more than that of the same period last year.
In terms of power generation utilization, from January to April this year, the cumulative average utilization hours of power generation equipment nationwide is 1097 hours, 49 hours less than that of the same period last year, including 789 hours for wind power; 373 hours for solar power; 2471 hours for nuclear power; 785 hours for hydropower; and 1448 hours for thermal power.
In terms of investment, from January to April, the power engineering of the national major power generation enterprises completed an investment of 191.2 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 5.2%.
