British and American Companies Jointly Develop Advanced AI Battery Management System

TapTechNews on June 20, a British tech company, Eatron Technologies, and an American AI chip company, Syntiant, jointly developed an AI battery management system (BMS), which can unlock an additional 10% of the battery's capacity and extend the battery life by 25%.

It is known that the AI-BMS integrates Eatron Technologies' intelligent algorithm into Syntiant's ultra-low power NDP120 neural decision processor to achieve the improvement of battery capacity and life.

The Eatron pre-trained model can not only make extremely accurate evaluations of the battery's health status, charging status, and remaining useful life, but also predict possible problems of the battery in advance to improve safety.

The AI-BMS on the chip, with the processing efficiency of Syntiant NDP120, it can directly analyze and make decisions on the local device in real time, without relying on a complex cloud infrastructure, reducing costs and resolving latency and power consumption issues.
