After the early September, for all orders on the 1688 platform, as long as the buyer uses the official logistics to pick up the returned goods at the door, the buyer does not need to bear part or all of the freight, the platform pays, and the subsidy for each order is up to 25 US dollars for freight. If the buyer chooses to return the goods by himself, he can also get the subsidy for the return freight, and the platform pays, and the subsidy for each order is 5 US dollars for freight.

In addition, for the occasional delayed delivery behavior of merchants with high return rates, 1688 will provide a subsidy of up to 5 orders per month or up to 300 US dollars. If the goods sent by the merchant to the buyer have an accident during the transportation process, the platform will compensate the merchant according to the same value of the goods, with a maximum compensation of 50,000 US dollars.

TapTechNews noticed that since September 1st, the Interim Provisions on Anti-Unfair Competition on the Network of the State Administration for Market Regulation will be officially implemented. Among them, Article 24 proposes:

Platform operators shall not use means such as service agreements and trading rules to unreasonably restrict or attach unreasonable conditions to the transactions of platform operators within the platform, the transaction prices, and the transactions with other operators.
