Portable Graphics Card Expansion Dock Showcased at Computex Taipei 2024

According to TapTechNews on June 5th, as reported by the French media CowcotLand, Hanyu and Sparkle showcased a portable graphics card expansion dock that simultaneously supports the two popular external graphics card interfaces, USB4 (Thunderbolt 3) and OCuLink at the Computex Taipei 2024.

The three dimensions of this portable graphics card expansion dock by Hanyu are 2.6 * 1.2 * 0.32 inches (approximately 6.6 * 3.05 * 0.81 cm). The expansion dock adopts a built-in power supply design and contains a 280-watt gallium nitride power adapter internally.

In terms of the graphics card, this expansion dock can be optionally equipped with AMD Radeon 7700S/7600S/7600M/7600XT (TapTechNews note: presumably referring to 7600MXT) graphics cards, and uses an axial fan active cooling system with RGB lighting effects around the air outlet.

Hanyu's portable graphics card expansion dock is equipped with an Intel Titan Ridge Thunderbolt 3 controller and provides the following interfaces:

One USB4 upstream interface supporting 65 watts of power supply;

One OCuLink interface;

Two DP1.4 interfaces, supporting 8K 60 Hz;

One HDMI 2.1 interface, supporting 8K 60 Hz;

One USB3.2 Gen2 Type-C interface, supporting 15 watts of power supply;

Three USB3.2 Gen2 Type-A interfaces;

One SD 4.0 card reader.
