China Telecom Unveils New 'AI + Terminal' Products

Tianyi Cloud Tablet
The Tianyi Cloud Tablet is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek processor (the specific model has not been announced yet), adopts an all-metal body design, has a body thickness of 7.65mm, and weighs about 490g. It is equipped with an 11-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1200.
The Tianyi Cloud Tablet supports the dual-mode switching of cloud/local, has a built-in AI assistant named Yi Xiaotian, adds AI professional application functions, and also provides a Bluetooth keyboard as an option. The official claims that it can achieve a PC-level operation experience.
AI Portable Learning Machine
The official said that the China Telecom AI Portable Learning Machine is designed for primary and secondary school students and parents, supports English, mathematics, and Chinese全科辅导 (full subject tutoring), has the ability to connect the context and semantics, and can play games such as idiom solitaire, riddles, storytelling, and debating.
The AI Portable Learning Machine weighs only 70 grams and is equipped with a 3.7-inch ink screen, and supports functions such as calls, text messages, positioning, and payment. The official said that the learning machine can have a call for up to 6 hours with a single charge and can standby for up to 120 hours.
China Telecom FTTR-B
At this press conference, China Telecom also brought the FTTR-B all-optical networking terminal for commercial enterprises, which includes components such as the main gateway (divided into standard version and professional version), slave gateway, active splitter, and photoelectric composite cable.
Among them, the standard version of the main gateway has a metal body and supports WiFi6 and 2.5G Ethernet ports; the professional version adds 5G and AI modules and supports 4K video decoding.
In addition, China Telecom FTTR-B supports 10-gigabit access and all-optical networking technology and has the characteristics of low latency. The main and slave gateways are equipped with 2.5GE interfaces and have the EasyMesh seamless roaming function; the product also adopts the power supply design of the photoelectric composite cable, and the installation convenience is improved.
