AI to Boost Global Server GPU Output Value to Over 100 Billion US Dollars in 2024

TapTechNews Jun 26, according to a newly released report by the DIGITIMES Research Center, artificial intelligence (AI) will drive the global server GPU output value to exceed 100 billion US dollars in 2024, reaching 121.9 billion US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 886.944 billion Chinese yuan).

The report points out that in 2024, the output value of high-end server GPUs will account for more than 80%, which is expected to reach 102.2 billion US dollars; in 2024, the shipment of high-end server GPUs will reach 4.82 million pieces, among which Nvidia has a 92.5% share and AMD has a 7.3% share.

The report believes that generative AI is still in its early stages of development, and cloud server providers (CSPs) are still actively reserving computing power. In addition to self-developed server ASIC accelerators, they also purchase a large number of high-end server GPUs to seize business opportunities.

In addition to CSPs, global large enterprises are also actively deploying generative artificial intelligence services. Although the single order volume of these enterprises is not as large as that of large CSPs, there are a large number of enterprises, further increasing the shipment volume of Nvidia in 2024.
