Wuling Xingguang S A New Energy SUV with Multiple Features

Wuling Xingguang S has a body size of 4745 * 1890 * 1680mm, wheelbase of 2800mm, and supports 4 kinds of seat layouts.
Lying Flat Mode: Using a reclining chair design, the passenger seat can be放倒 180 degrees backwards and can be leveled with the rear row to form a reclining chair.
Child-Caring Mode: The rear row can place up to 2 child seats.
Romantic Mode: The front 2 seats are放倒.
Outdoor Mode: The rear row is fully放倒.
In terms of riding experience, the new car has a front and rear row seat spacing of 985mm, and the seat cushion length of the rear seat is up to 525mm; The front row supports 6-way driver's seat and 4-way passenger seat electric adjustment, with heating and ventilation functions; the rear seat supports heating, and the backrest angle is adjustable, with a maximum adjustment range of 12 degrees and a maximum tilt angle of 127 degrees.
In terms of storage space, the new car's trunk has a 525L storage space. After lifting the adjustable partition in the trunk, there is an 85L hidden storage space set below, and the volume can be expanded to 610L to realize upper and lower partitions and modular storage. Wuling Xingguang S is expected to go on the market in August. The car has four color options for the exterior: Xinghan White, Xingji Blue, Xingye Gray, and Xingshuo Gold.
Wuling Xingguang S is the second model of the Tianyu Architecture D platform and is positioned as a medium-sized SUV. Two power assemblies of pure electric and plug-in hybrid will be provided.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Wuling Xingguang S model appeared in the new product publicity of the 384th batch of the Announcement of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Product Catalogs of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It will provide two power options of plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and pure electric (EV). According to the declaration information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the PHEV version will be equipped with two different capacity battery packs, which are 20.5 kWh and 9.5 kWh respectively, and the pure electric cruising range can reach 90 kilometers and 43 kilometers respectively.
In terms of power, the Wuling Xingguang S PHEV version will be equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine and a motor. The maximum power of the 1.5-liter engine is 78 kilowatts, and the power of the motor has not been announced yet. The EV version's motor has a maximum power of 150 kilowatts, is driven by a single motor, and is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery.
Judging from the model positioning and body size, the main competitors of Wuling Xingguang S are BYD Song PLUS DM-i and BYD Yuan PLUS.
