vivo Announces Smart In-Car with Video Apps for In-Vehicle Entertainment

TapTechNews July 15th news, vivo officially announced today that the built-in function of OriginOS, vivo Smart In-Car, has launched video-type applications, allowing users to directly play videos on the car's screen using thedesignated applications on the mobile phone end.

The official said that currently, the vivo Smart In-Car experience zonehas supported 7 video-type apps, including: iQiyi, Tencent Video, Youku Video, Bilibili, TikTok, Kuaishou, and Xigua Video.

TapTechNews noticed that Tencent Video and Youku Video apps require Android 14 or above system support on the mobile phone, while other apps have no Android version restrictions; in addition, short-video applications such as TikTok and Kuaishou have been adapted tosupport page-turning viewing with the car's side control.

It should be noted that this function is suitable for use during parking and rest. Owners should abide by traffic regulations and pay attention to safety during the driving process and not use video-type applications.
