Twitch said that subscription is an important way for the audience to express support. In order to deal with the continuously rising costs and exchange rate fluctuations, Twitch will adjust the prices of Tier1 subscriptions and gifted subscriptions in more than 40 countries/regions, involving iOS and Android ends.

Starting from October 1st, the subscription price for new users in the United States is $7.99. Twitch also emphasized that it will start notifying subscribers that their subscriptions will be renewed at the new price starting from November 1st. The following are some common answers for streamers about the price increase issue:

Existing mobile subscriptions in most countries/regions will be automatically renewed at the new price - your subscribers don't need to take any action.

The Tier2 or Tier3 subscription prices in any country/region will not be changed for the time being.

You can still get the same net income amount, so this price increase means you will get more income.
