The project is constructed by Wuhan Liyan Control Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Wuhan Liyan). The new factory has built and put into production 4 specialized automatic sensor production lines, which can produce 4.5 million sets of inductive position sensors annually.

At the commissioning ceremony site, Wuhan Liyan released a new generation of dual-redundancy TAS torque angle sensor, SAS angle sensor, LPS linear displacement sensor and MPS motor displacement sensor, which can be applied to various automated driving assistance systems such as various steer-by-wire and brake-by-wire, and various automotive body and chassis electronic control system products.

Wuhan Liyan is the only company in the domestic inductive sensor field that has the ability from chip development to product manufacturing and mass production delivery in the entire chain. It was established in 2015 and started batch production of inductive position sensors in the country in the same year, and began large-scale supply in 2017.

In 2021, Wuhan Liyan started the localization process of chip foundry subcontracting. In July 2023, the revised and iterated chip was successfully taped out in the country and passed the third-party certification, finally achieving independent control of core components, breaking through the bottleneck dilemma.
