Sirui Optics Joins M43 Mount Alliance

TapTechNews May 28 news, according to the official website of the M43 Mount Alliance, Sirui Optics has officially joined the M43 Mount Alliance, and the number of affiliated and cooperative manufacturers of the M43 Mount Alliance has reached 61.

It is introduced that the M43 mount was jointly developed by Olympus and Panasonic. Compared to APSC, the shorter flange distance of the M43 mount system makes the lens design more diverse. Including domestic brands such as DJI, Yongnuo, and Laowa are also members of the M43 Mount Alliance. Users can use various M43 lenses launched by various major manufacturers on one camera device to obtain completely different experiences.

Referring to TapTechNews' previous report, the 16/75mm T1.2 lens recently launched by Sirui Optics also provides the M43 mount option. This lens is mainly used for film shooting. Considering that Sirui Optics has the technology to develop autofocus lenses, it can be expected that the company will launch more autofocus lenses with the M43 mount in the future.
